EXPERIENCED
The Rankin County Prosecutor's Office handles a tremendous volume of criminal cases, requiring the full attention and dedication of the County Prosecuting Attorney. Trey knows this by experience, as he has been the Assistant County Prosecutor since 2020, and In July 2022, Trey was tasked with the total oversight of the operations of the County Prosecutor's Office. Trey has direct experience in this role and therefore is best positioned to continue to make positive changes in the lives of the people of Rankin County, Mississippi. It is his connection to the community, his calling to public service, and his desire to ensure the safety of his neighbors, friends, and family, that has led to his eagerness and passion to fight for the people of Rankin County as their next County Prosecuting Attorney.

Trey is a graduate of Ole Miss with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and received his Law Degree from Mississippi College School of Law. He is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association and the Rankin County Bar Association. Trey’s calling to public service began prior to his current position of County Prosecuting Attorney which is proven in his previous positions:

He volunteers his time to the Tri-County Mountain Bike Association (TCMBA) to provide the community with outdoor recreation. Trey resides in Flowood with his wife Taylor and their two dogs, Tucker, and Tyson. They are members and attend St. Paul's Catholic Church.
